ABOUT SAVANNAH
Savannah is the owner and head trainer at Savvy Dog Training. She has been training dogs professionally for several years and has refined her skills over the thousands of dogs she has worked with.
Savannah's passion for dogs started at a very young age, but her skills in training quickly developed when she started training young puppies about to go to their new home. She then moved on to work in three different kennels, each providing her with new skills, knowledge, and techniques until she was ready to branch out on her own.
Savannah is currently training with a non-profit local to Wisconsin that is dedicated to providing fully trained guide dogs to the visually impaired. She teaches volunteer puppy raisers in Madison and Milwaukee, and visits New Lisbon Correctional Institution to work with inmates also raising dogs for the non-profit.
When Savannah is not training other people's dogs, she is at home hanging out with her own German Shorthaired Pointer, "Lassiter," who loves to go dock diving and has been titled in hunting trials through the Deutsch Kurzhaar Group of North America.
